About the role
To supervise and coordinate day-to-day mechanical and electrical maintenance activities in the spinning mill, ensuring safe machine operation, minimum breakdowns, maximum machine availability, and timely completion of preventive maintenance.
What you'll do
- Attend machine breakdowns immediately and restore equipment at the earliest possible time
- Identify the cause of breakdown and carry out corrective action
- Escalate major and repeated breakdowns to the Maintenance Engineer/HOD
- Record breakdown details, repair time and action taken
- Monitor repeated failures and support Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
