About the role

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Backend Senior Software Engineer (Node.js / API) to join the Digital Business Banking team. This team is responsible for building scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services supporting payments, onboarding, and money movement workflows. As an Engineer, you will drive API strategy, and ensure delivery of robust, cloud-native microservices aligned with enterprise banking platforms.

What you'll do

• Technical Leadership & Architecture
• Own the end-to-end backend design, and implementation of scalable API-driven systems
• Lead development using Node.js, TypeScript, and microservices architecture
• Define standards for API design, service communication, data flow, event-driven patterns, and security
• Evaluate modern tools and technologies to enhance system scalability, resilience, and observability
