About the role
When you join the Institutional Portfolio Operations (IPO) team as a Analyst, you are joining a group of tightknit, energetic, and social individuals, who together have a direct impact on the investment success of individuals, pension funds, foundations and endowments, First Nations and other institutional clients.
What you'll do
- Reconcile various items, including but not limited to: cash, transactions, holdings, futures, various derivative products, dividends, soft dollars, units
- Communicate with custodians, prime brokers, portfolio managers, and key personnel across CC&L to investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies
- Communicate critical portfolio information and oversee the flow of sensitive information for all CC&L affiliates
- Work with auditors to assist in providing accurate and timely data for audits of our institutional client accounts
- Communicate with our custodians and prime brokers to set up daily delivery of external files for reconciliation purposes and to resolve data-related issues
