About the role
In this Software Asset Management role, you will support the software asset lifecycle Team. You will use automation, artificial intelligence, and software asset management practices to improve visibility into software investments, promote efficient use, and support governance. The role combines lifecycle operations, inventory management, user support, and cost-optimization activities in a complex software environment.
What you'll do
- Complete administrative and analytical activities that support the Software Governance Board process
- Operate daily software asset lifecycle management processes, including new-software and software-removal requests
- Maintain software inventory and catalogue data, including software-version information, in software asset management tools
- Partner with end users, management, and vendors to keep software current, support maintenance agreements, and resolve technical or administrative issues
- Create dashboards and reports that support inventory management, cost optimization activities, and efficient software use
