About the role
The role works across cloud and on-premises infrastructure and supports disaster recovery, business continuity, observability, automation and secure platform operations. You will support Apigee X, Apigee Hybrid or another enterprise API gateway while building the automation, observability and recovery capabilities required for stable platform services.
What you'll do
- Implement high-availability, resilience, disaster recovery and business continuity improvements for API platform services
- Build and maintain reusable CI/CD pipelines and automation aligned with platform engineering, security and release standards
- Automate deployment, validation, configuration, recovery, rollback, health checks and routine platform-maintenance procedures
- Review alert effectiveness and use platform telemetry to identify monitoring gaps, reliability risks, capacity constraints and recurring operational issues
- Execute resilience, failover, recovery and business continuity exercises across cloud and on-premises environments
