Purchase Coordinator – Stainless Steel Manufacturing We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Coordinator for a stainless steel manufacturing company based in Santacruz East, Mumbai. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating purchase activities, communicating with suppliers, following up on orders, maintaining purchase records, and ensuring the timely availability of materials required for manufacturing operations.
What you'll do
- Coordinate day-to-day purchasing activities and assist in procuring materials required for manufacturing operations
- Communicate with suppliers and vendors to obtain quotations, check prices, and confirm material availability
- Prepare and process purchase orders as per approved requirements
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and avoid production delays
- Coordinate with the production, stores, inventory, and accounts departments regarding material requirements and deliveries
