About the role
The expert will support the preparation of State Regional Plans by undertaking stakeholder consultations, spatial analysis, GIS-based mapping, and preparation of planning reports and DPRs. The role involves coordination with government departments, local authorities, consultants, and other stakeholders to collect data, prepare analytical outputs, and develop planning proposals aligned with project objectives.
What you'll do
- Stakeholder Consultation and Coordination
- Plan and facilitate stakeholder consultations, workshops, focus group discussions, and departmental meetings
- Coordinate with Government departments, Urban Local Bodies (ULBs), Development Authorities, line agencies, and other stakeholders for data collection and validation
- Record meeting proceedings, prepare consultation reports, and incorporate stakeholder feedback into planning outputs
- Assist in inter-departmental coordination to obtain statutory information, project inputs, and approvals
