About the role
Shift Second shift (primary), with flexibility to extend beyond shift hours on a lead basis to support critical operations, major incidents, and planned activities. The Lead owns end-to-end SAP Basis service delivery for the complex landscape. This is a hands-on leadership role: the individual runs the day-to-day technical operation and leads the team, while acting as the primary Basis point of contact for client stakeholders.
What you'll do
- Own operational stability of the SAP landscape (S/4HANA, ECC, and surrounding applications) across production and non-production
- Drive the full range of Basis AMS activities: system monitoring, transport management, client copies/refreshes, kernel and support-pack upgrades, patching
- Plan and execute system refreshes, migrations, upgrades, and DR drills for the landscape
- Ensure change, incident, and problem processes are followed with quality and within SLA
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Basis team; own work allocation, shift coverage, and workload balancing
