About the role
We are seeking a Director, Software Engineering to lead and scale Ensemble’s Software Engineering organization based in India. This role is responsible for engineering strategy, delivery excellence, platform reliability, and people leadership across multiple product and platform teams.
What you'll do
- Engineering Strategy & Platform Leadership
- Define and execute the software engineering roadmap aligned with product and business priorities
- Own architectural direction and technical standards across services, platforms, and applications
- Drive enterprise-wide adoption of AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, and agent-based frameworks
- Drive adoption of modern engineering practices including cloud-native design, microservices, event-driven architectures, and API-first development
