About the role
Assistant Manager – Operations & Maintenance (India) This key role will be responsible to manage and supervise the on-site activities related to machines working to perform railway track construction, and rail grinding projects and operations—particularly involving track machines ensuring timely execution, technical compliance, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
What you'll do
- Supervise and monitor the operation, deployment, and maintenance of track machines at the site
- Ensure all site activities comply with project plans, engineering standards, and safety procedures
- Read and understand contractual obligations clearly. Prepare strong correspondence with customers on contractual matters relating to O&M
- Coordinate with project stakeholders, contractors, and vendors for timely execution of work
- Maintain and organize all project documentation including drawings, reports, approvals, and technical correspondences
