About the role
You'll be the engineer who makes that happen. You start with the people using the product — how they reach, hold, plug in, read status and service it — and then design the parts that make that experience simple and reliable, all the way to production.
What you'll do
- Spend time in the field watching how people use our products, and turn what you see into design requirements
- Design the parts people touch: connector holsters, handles, doors, cable management, displays and status lights
- Make the product comfortable, intuitive and hard to misuse — easy to grip, clear feedback, one obvious way to do it right
- Make it last outdoors: weatherproofing, durable materials and finishes, and the testing to prove it
- Make it quick to assemble and easy to service
