About the role
We are looking for a Technical Architect / Manager for the EY.ai Center for Reimagination who can lead backend engineering for enterprise-grade digital, AI-native and agentic platforms, with strong depth in Python and working knowledge of Java and Go-based services.
What you'll do
- Own backend and agentic platform architecture for Python-led platform components across APIs, services, automation utilities, AI/LLM integrations, multi-agent workflows
- Define design principles, reference patterns, coding standards and reusable engineering assets for backend teams
- Translate functional and non-functional requirements into concrete architecture decisions covering scalability, security, performance, reliability and maintainability
- Lead technical design reviews, code reviews, dependency assessments and production-readiness checks before major releases
- Guide engineers on Python service design, Java service integration, API contracts, database access patterns, error management and automated testing
