About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically competent Procurement Specialist to support procurement and supply chain operations for engineered products and services. This role is responsible for sourcing materials and services, managing supplier relationships, evaluating technical and commercial requirements, and ensuring timely material availability to support business and production demands.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the technical specifications, manufacturing requirements, and standards of products and services being procured
- Work closely with engineering teams to interpret technical drawings, material specifications, and manufacturing requirements
- Review purchase requisitions generated through MRP demand planning and determine procurement requirements
- Source materials, components, and services in accordance with technical specifications and procurement guidelines
- Conduct inventory redeployment checks and utilize existing inventory where available
