About the role
We are seeking a hands-on Project Engineer (Mechanical) to join the Well Completion Products (WCP) in Mumbai India. This is a product engineering role focused on the design, development, qualification, and sustaining engineering of packers, flow control tools, and downhole completion equipment across Cased Hole and Open Hole Completion applications.
What you'll do
- Serve as the technical authority for the design, development, qualification, and optimization of Well Completion Products, including packers, completion tools
- Lead product development projects from concept through qualification, validation, commercialization, and field deployment
- Conduct advanced engineering calculations, simulations, stress analysis, fatigue assessments
- Resolve complex technical issues related to structural integrity, pressure containment, sealing performance, reliability, and failure modes
- Drive continuous product improvement initiatives through root cause analysis, reliability studies, failure investigations, and design optimization
