About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer (Mechanical) to lead the design, development, qualification, and optimization of Well Completion Products (WCP) within the oil and gas industry. This role serves as a technical authority for mechanical engineering activities, driving product innovation, reliability improvements, and compliance with industry standards.
What you'll do
- Serve as the technical authority for the design, development, qualification, and optimization of Well Completion Products, including packers, completion tools
- Lead product development projects from concept through qualification, validation, commercialization, and field deployment
- Conduct advanced engineering calculations, simulations, stress analysis, fatigue assessments
- Resolve complex technical issues related to structural integrity, pressure containment, sealing performance, reliability, and failure modes
- Drive continuous product improvement initiatives through root cause analysis, reliability studies, failure investigations, and design optimization
