About the role

Set performance goals, conduct periodic performance reviews, and drive capability building within the credit team. Leverage technology, analytics, and digital underwriting tools to improve credit decision-making and process automation. Stay updated on mortgage industry trends, competitor practices, regulatory developments, and economic conditions impacting the housing finance sector.

What you'll do

• Lead end-to-end credit underwriting and approval of Mass Market mortgage loan applications across the Maharashtra region
• Ensure consistent application of credit policies, underwriting standards, and risk assessment frameworks
• Evaluate complex credit proposals and provide approval/recommendation within delegated authority limits
• Monitor portfolio performance, delinquency trends, and early warning indicators to maintain portfolio quality
• Drive portfolio growth while ensuring adherence to risk appetite, credit guidelines, and governance standards
