About the role
A Payroll specialist will be responsible for overseeing the payroll process and ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees. This role will also support various operational functions to ensure smooth business operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
What you'll do
- End to end processing of India payroll monthly, quarterly and yearly payroll process (Ideally more than 1 country expertise)
- Updating and maintaining payroll records (Joiners/Leavers/Changes) and payroll master data
- Liaising with staff and management on payroll related queries
- Process accurate and timely payroll monthly and yearly reporting (reporting with state authorities like Tax Office, statutory Pension, providing)
- Ensure that statutory payments such as Income tax, PF, PT and LWF filing are done within timelines
