About the role
We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our Enterprise Digital Solutions team in Hyderabad, India . In this role, you will design, build, and maintain reliable automated tests across UI and API layers, embed quality checks into CI/CD, and partner with Engineering and Product to prevent defects early.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain automated test suites for critical user journeys (smoke, regression, end-to-end)
- Create maintainable UI automation using Playwright and TypeScript/JavaScript (reusable fixtures, selectors, and page abstractions)
- Build and enhance API automation (request validation, data setup/teardown, and basic contract checks where applicable)
- Analyze failures, triage defects, and collaborate with engineers to identify root causes and prevent regressions
