About the role
The Static Equipment Design Engineer is responsible for the design, analysis, and specification of static equipment such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, storage tanks, reactors, and other non-rotating equipment used in industrial plants, particularly in the oil & gas, petrochemical, and energy industries.
What you'll do
- Responsible for the design, analysis, and specification of static equipment such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, storage tanks, reactors
- Perform calculations and simulations to determine the optimal materials, dimensions, and operational parameters for equipment
- Create and review detailed engineering drawings, technical data sheets, and design reports
- Ensure compliance with applicable design codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, TEMA, PD5500)
