VSP One Object and Hitachi Content Platform are Hitachi Vantara's software-defined enterprise object storage platforms. It's built to scale for cloud-native and AI workloads. The engineering scrum teams build and maintain the full We're looking for a motivated Software Development Engineer to design, build and maintain core parts of VSP One Object and Hitachi Content Platform.
What you'll do
- Work with architects, product owners, QA, DevOps and Support to deliver storage features that are reliable, fast and scalable
- Write clean, modular, maintainable code with thorough unit and integration tests, and take part in code reviews
- Help with customer escalations and sustaining work: root-cause analysis, fixes and verification
- Follow and promote engineering best practices for CI/CD, security, CVE remediation and observability (telemetry, metrics, dashboards)
- Help build and improve automated test frameworks, including functional, performance and scale testing
