About the role
The Wintel Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day management, maintenance and support of the organization's Windows-based infrastructure, including servers, operating systems, applications, and related components. They ensure the availability, reliability, and security of the Wintel environment, and they play a key role in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to Windows-based systems.
What you'll do
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers, operating systems, and related software applications
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize the performance of Wintel servers and infrastructure
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and security fixes to maintain a secure and up-to-date environment
- Manage Active Directory services, including user accounts, group policies, and domain services
- Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions for Wintel systems to ensure data integrity and availability
