Product Manager — Developer Platform (GitHub)

About the role

We're looking for a Product Manager t o own our GitHub platform and developer discovery experience. Developers choose a silicon platform based on the software, tools, and content around it, so how easily they can find and use our software directly shapes product success. You'll own that experience by making our GitHub presence a place that developers trust and making our software easy to find.

What you'll do

• Own and manage the company’s GitHub organization, ensuring high-quality repositories, curated code samples, well-maintained SDKs, and strong repository governance
• Establish and maintain repository quality standards, enabling developers to quickly discover, understand, and successfully run solutions
• Enhance the developer journey from discovery to adoption by optimizing how developers find, access, and use company software across GitHub and related platforms
• Monitor and analyze the developer acquisition funnel (discovery → download → first successful build) and drive improvements to remove friction points
• Define and maintain repository lifecycle practices, including release management, issue tracking, tagging strategies, and overall repository health
