About the role
The Design Engineer – Mechanical is responsible for designing and developing industrial equipment, assemblies, and mechanical systems based on customer requirements and engineering standards.
What you'll do
- Create and maintain 3D models, assemblies, and engineering drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings, fabrication drawings, machining drawings, and General Arrangement Drawings (GAD)
- Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and related engineering documentation
- Design sheet-metal, fabricated, and machined components
- Review customer specifications and translate requirements into engineering solutions
