About the role
The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for the overall design & release of customized solutions for precision fastening machines, Special Purpose Machines & Robotics solutions and Manipulators (Handling devices). The candidate ensures the delivery of new designs from the concept stage to the prototype stage and develops the new range of products based on the business requirement.
What you'll do
- Responsible for the management of all design activities including concept finalization, design release, design verification
- Visit the site to understand the customer requirements and site conditions and should be capable of converting into technical specifications
- Assist Application Engineers on the feasibility study & provide them with the required data to generate the Techno Commercial proposal
- Build 3D concept & 2D drawing of the solution
- Design GA layout of the station as per customer input
