About the role
This role places you in a multifunctional design team, carrying out tactical problem solving in a fast-paced design environment with frequent interaction with engineering functions and personnel. This position requires comprehensive analysis, design and development of Ingersoll Rand’s MSG line of multi-staged, integrally geared centrifugal compressors and a means of long-range planning for continuous effective improvement.
What you'll do
- Complete design evaluations include but not limited to dynamic and static simulation of rotating systems, rotor design, gearing and airend evaluation
- The Mechanical Engineer will primarily be responsible for creating and interacting with CAD/CAM models, including drafting and GD&T
