About the role
Responsible for managing the procurement of indirect materials and services, developing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring cost-effective and timely supply to support uninterrupted plant operations.
What you'll do
- Manage procurement of indirect materials and services required for plant operations
- Source and negotiate suppliers for Cutting tools, machining tools, MRO items, consumables, packaging materials, plant utilities, safety items, office supplies
- Ensure timely availability of materials while achieving cost savings, quality, and delivery targets
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships, conduct supplier evaluations, and support vendor development initiatives
- Monitor supplier performance, lead times, and inventory levels to avoid production disruptions
