Senior Data Scientist

About the role

As a Senior Data Scientist with expertise in the GenAI stack (audio & video generation models), you will lead the research, analysis, and development of advanced video generation models to enhance JioStar’s current and prospective content production. This initiative aims to achieve quantifiable improvements in user engagement, satisfaction, and retention, driven by data-driven innovations.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with 3rd-party AI vendors to evaluate their capabilities, run quality benchmarks, and drive technical integration where applicable
• Lead the creation of in-house solutions to augment 3rd-party offerings, with a focus on improving video quality, generation time, and content relevance
• Develop robust pipelines for dataset curation, preprocessing, training, and model evaluation, including automated visual, temporal, and semantic quality metrics
• Work closely with product managers, engineering teams, and senior leadership to define use cases, set priorities, and bring production-grade AI systems to life
• Run A/B tests, iterate based on performance feedback, and ensure alignment with product experience goals and creative quality standards
