About the role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Officer to strengthen data management systems and support evidence-based decision-making across a mission-driven organization. In this role, you will oversee key stages of the data lifecycle, from digital data collection and processing to analysis, reporting, and governance.
What you'll do
- Data Management and Infrastructure: Develop, maintain, and improve digital data collection systems, automated data pipelines
- Ensure data availability, consistency, accuracy, and usability across different systems by maintaining data models, troubleshooting technical issues
- Data Quality, Analysis, and Reporting: Design and implement data quality checks, automated validations, and monitoring mechanisms to identify discrepancies
- Analyze programmatic and operational datasets, develop dashboards and reports, and generate actionable insights to support organizational monitoring, evaluation
- Conduct data audits and identify opportunities to improve existing systems, streamline manual processes, and introduce automation, AI, and other relevant technologies
