About the role
You will advise senior leadership on legal and regulatory matters, strengthen internal controls, and develop frameworks to identify and mitigate organizational risks. Working closely with global stakeholders and external legal advisors, you will help maintain operational resilience and protect organizational integrity.
What you'll do
- Legal and regulatory leadership: Oversee legal and regulatory matters affecting the India-based organization, providing strategic advice and guidance on applicable laws
- Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of agreements, including vendor contracts, employment contracts, service agreements, and non-disclosure agreements (NDAs)
- Advise the Board and senior management on legal developments, regulatory requirements, and issues that may affect business operations
- Coordinate with external legal counsel on regulatory matters, litigation, and dispute resolution when required
- Monitor changes in Indian laws and regulations relevant to financial services and assess their potential organizational impact
