About the role
Working with technologies such as NetApp ONTAP, Dell EMC storage systems, and Veeam Backup & Replication, you will oversee complex storage and backup operations. The role combines hands-on administration, troubleshooting, infrastructure optimization, and technical support. You will also contribute to storage assessments, solution implementation, capacity management, and disaster recovery activities.
What you'll do
- Configure, upgrade, and maintain Veeam Backup & Replication components, including master servers, backup gateways, proxies, and clients
- Set up and administer backup repositories and supporting NAS storage solutions, including Dell EMC Data Domain and QNAP systems
- Manage backup jobs for virtual machines, storage filers, and databases across different backup platforms
- Diagnose and resolve backup and restore issues, including failed backup jobs and related operational incidents
- Perform data restores according to customer requirements and recovery needs
