Research Scientist (Chemistry)

About the role

We are looking for a Chemist to lead R&D programs focusing on the role of inorganic / organic compounds, metals, and ionic species in water and wastewater treatment. The candidate will develop advanced formulations, study redox and precipitation reactions, and evaluate corrosion and scaling mechanisms that impact treatment plant operations.

What you'll do

• Conduct laboratory research on metal ion removal, precipitation and ion separation
• Develop and deliver next-generation technologies for brine management and ZLD solutions
• Study reaction kinetics and equilibria of inorganic species in treatment processes
• Develop new coagulant or adsorbent formulations for industrial wastewater
• Characterize solid and aqueous phases using XRD, ICP-MS, and SEM
