Research Scientist (Membrane)

About the role

We are seeking a Membrane Expert to strengthen the research and product development efforts within the Desalination vertical at WTC. The candidate will work on advancing the performance, selectivity, and lifespan of membranes used in seawater and brackish water desalination.

What you'll do

• Conduct research on advanced membranes for desalination and water reuse applications
• Develop new membrane coatings, surface modifications, and cleaning protocols
• Analyze membrane performance using SEM, AFM, EDX, and contact angle analysis
• Lead lab and pilot experiments on hybrid RO/FO/UF systems
• Work with vendors and partners for module design and scale-up
