About the role
As Head of Frame Manufacturing, you will lead the ground-up design, commissioning, and full-scale operation of Lenskart's proprietary frames manufacturing plant. This isn't a role where you inherit a system and optimize it at the margins. You are the founder of this facility — owning everything from plant architecture and technology selection to the culture, the team, and the KPIs that will define world-class eyewear production.
What you'll do
- Factory Build-Out & Commissioning (The Founder's Mandate)
- Define the facility's physical and operational blueprint across injection moulding, acetate machining, metal processing, finishing, and final assembly
- Lead technology transfer and vendor partnerships, ensuring world-class equipment and process capability from day one
- Partner with global design, product, and sourcing teams to engineer for manufacturability, speed, and consistency at scale
