About the role
The Senior Engineer – Estimation is responsible for preparing accurate, competitive, and technically sound cost estimates for engineering, construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
What you'll do
- Estimation and Cost Planning
- Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for tenders, proposals, budgets, variations, and project planning activities
- Review drawings, specifications, bills of quantities, scope documents, contracts, and other project information to determine estimation requirements
- Perform quantity take-offs for materials, equipment, labor, subcontracted works, and other project resources
- Develop cost estimates using applicable rates, historical data, supplier quotations, productivity norms, and market trends
