About the role
We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Cloud Migration Engineer to lead and carry out the migration of a ServiceNow platform from on-premise (self-hosted) to the cloud, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will assess the current ServiceNow environment, plan the migration, and move the instances, data, customisations and integrations to the cloud securely, with minimal downtime and no data loss.
What you'll do
- Assess the current on-premise ServiceNow environment, including instances, versions, customisations, scoped apps, integrations and data volumes
- Plan the migration approach, timeline, cutover and rollback plans
- Prepare and build the target cloud environment, preferably on GCP, including networking, security, access and connectivity
- Migrate ServiceNow instances, configurations, customisations and data to the cloud
- Reconfigure and test integrations, MID Servers, IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP and LDAP/SSO connections after migration
