About the role

The Dispatch Senior Specialist is responsible for ensuring the continuous and efficient flow of freight by managing and resolving any operational issues drivers may encounter. This role focuses on overseeing the timely pickup and return of loaded and empty containers, coordinating movements between warehouses and terminals, and ensuring all necessary resources are in place.

What you'll do

• Responsible for ensuring the continuous and efficient flow of freight by managing and resolving any operational issues drivers may encounter
• Plan and coordinate freight movements, ensuring efficient assignments to drivers
• Develop and oversee logistics operations to guarantee the timely pickup of loaded and empty containers
• Monitor and confirm that drivers assigned from the previous day are actively working on their designated tasks
• Schedule and manage appointments for cargo pickup and delivery at the port
