About the role
This role ensures that cloud usage and license quantities align with contractual commitments and vendor agreements, helping the organization avoid non-compliance, overages, and unnecessary cloud spend.
What you'll do
- Track and manage licenses and subscriptions for cloud services across AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and SaaS applications (e.g., Microsoft 365
- Maintain an accurate inventory of entitlements, usage quantities, license types, and renewal timelines
- Ensure alignment between license allocations and actual cloud service deployments
- Monitor real-time and historical usage of cloud resources such as compute instances, storage, databases, and SaaS seats
- Analyze utilization trends to detect over-provisioning, under-utilization, and license misalignments
