About the role
As a part of the Global Application Management and Support (GAMS) team, this individual will be responsible to manage the development and modernization of EDMS (iDocs) Platform technically. With this role we are looking to strengthen development and support team who will liaise with cross-functional teams, to ensure successful delivery of support services at McDermott.
What you'll do
- Lead end-to-end technical delivery from discovery and estimation through design, build, testing, deployment and support
- Provide hands-on direction for Angular front ends, Java/Spring Boot services and Python services, integrations or automation
- Own architecture decisions for modularity, API contracts, identity, authorization, data access, resilience, performance and observability
- Translate functional and non-functional requirements into technical designs, engineering tasks and measurable acceptance criteria
- Establish and enforce coding standards, design patterns, peer review, automated testing and secure-development practices
