About the role
Be our lead lawyer in India supporting our local subsidiary Global Delivery Centre's/Global Capability Centre's legal needs. Balance the need to deliver practical and business-focused legal advice in compliance with Client's risk appetite and global compliance obligations.
What you'll do
- Advise on a wide variety of corporate, commercial, governance, and regulatory matters as part of a global organization with a specific focus on India
- Assist with our corporate governance requirements, including preparing local Board materials, attending meetings, and arranging statutory filings
- Support the local HR team with employment law-related matters (under the expert supervision of the Employment Law lead)
- Manage external legal counsel in India and ensure work is completed in a cost-effective manner
- Make presentations and support the provision of legal training to business functions on important legal topics
