About the role

Japanese national (mandatory). PhD in Chemistry (mandatory). Deep expertise in catalyst chemistry, washcoat development, and emissions technologies. Proven experience leading R&D teams, technology development programs, and customer-facing technical projects. Experience working with automotive OEMs, catalyst manufacturers, specialty chemicals, advanced materials, or clean-energy technologies.

What you'll do

• Lead pioneering chemical research programmes with real-world commercial impact
• Shape R&D strategy,develop local talent,& leave a lasting technological legacy
• Lead R&D activities for catalyst and emission-control technologies
• Develop advanced washcoat formulations for gasoline, diesel, CNG and biofuel applications
• Design and develop emission after-treatment systems including DOC, DPF and related technologies
