About the role
The position initially will be responsible for establishing, and then directly managing a legal team in Client's Bangalore, India office. The team consists of transactional attorneys, paralegals, and administrative positions, with full integration into the Client Legal Department.
What you'll do
- Provide general counsel leadership for Client's partner teams on a global basis
- Establish and directly manage a legal team based in the same office, with a subset of that team as functional reports, with the remaining functionally reporting elsewhere
- Continuously facilitate the integration and collaboration of on-shore, near-shore and off-shore Legal Department team members
- Participate as a member of global and regional partner teams
- Collaborate with the Client partner organization on business models and initiatives, assessing new program viability and completeness
