About the role

The ideal candidate will hold an engineering degree, with 15-24 years of experience in procurement within industrial manufacturing, including significant people leadership experience.
What you'll do
- Lead the India procurement organization, overseeing operational purchasing for direct and indirect materials across manufacturing operations
- Assess the existing procurement structure, establish clear roles and responsibilities, and drive organizational effectiveness and accountability
- Identify opportunities to develop Indian suppliers for both domestic and global requirements, supporting diversification of the global supplier base
- Improve procurement processes, standardization and governance while driving cost optimization and procurement efficiency
- Lead procurement digitalization initiatives, improve SAP utilization and identify opportunities for process automation
