About the role
A successful Head-R&D should have: Master's or PhD in Food Technology, Food Science, or related field. 8-10 years of hands-on formulation experience specifically with plant protein ingredients (soy, pea, chickpea, or pulse proteins). What you'll do
- Build and lead product innovation, formulation, and application science across protein, functional ingredient, and nutrition categories
- Develop and maintain the Formulation IP Registry to protect and manage formulation knowledge
- Serve as the primary technical interface with B2B customers during co-development projects
- Translate ingredient technologies into commercially successful food and nutrition applications
- Establish and build a world-class applications laboratory to support product development and customer innovation
