The Environmental Engineer will be responsible for managing environmental clearances, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and implementing environmental management plans for highway projects. The role involves liaising with government authorities, conducting impact assessments, and ensuring adherence to environmental laws and guidelines such as MoEF&CC, NHAI, and CPCB norms.
What you'll do
- Environmental Clearance & Regulatory Compliance
- Coordinate and obtain Environmental Clearance (EC) from the Ministry of Environment
- Ensure compliance with Environmental Protection Act, Forest Conservation Act, Water & Air Acts, and EIA Notification (2006 & Amendments)
- Prepare and submit applications for Forest Clearance (FC), Wildlife Clearance (WC), and CRZ Clearance if required
- Conduct liaison with regulatory bodies such as MoEF&CC, CPCB, SPCB, NHAI, and State PWD
