Engineering Manager, AI Builder Experience

About the role

As part of the AI Builders Experience org at MongoDB, we’re forming a brand new engineering team to make that happen, and we're looking for the founding Engineering Manager to hire the team, set the technical direction, and ship integrations into some of the fastest-moving open-source ecosystems in tech.

What you'll do

• Be close enough to the code to jump into exploratory work yourself while also building the team, process
• Execute effectively in a fast-moving environment where priorities may shift week to week based on framework changes, customer demand, partner needs
• Deliver quickly while keeping a high standard of technical quality
• Own the monitoring, operations, maintenance, and ongoing quality of a broad, evolving integration portfolio; develop testing strategy, release readiness
• Help the team build and maintain sustainable engineering practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, version compatibility awareness
