About the role
We are looking for an experienced Staff Engineer with experience in the Java ecosystem, streaming systems, and data-intensive applications to join our team. A successful candidate will be a key contributor to our backend services, collaborating closely with product management and other engineers to design and implement cutting-edge products that solve complex customer challenges.
What you'll do
- Mentor and guide junior and senior engineers on best practices in data structures, algorithms, and database design
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and contribute to the overall technical direction and roadmap of the team
- Contribute core, foundational code that solves the hardest scalability problems and sets the standard for the rest of the team
- Set up software development infrastructure (tech stack, build tools, etc) to enable development using the relevant tech stacks
