About the role
The Business Analyst partners with Product Owners, Architects, and Engineering teams to define and deliver data and platform capabilities. This role is responsible for translating complex business and technical requirements into structured backlog artifacts (Epics, Features, User Stories), ensuring alignment to architecture, API contracts, and end-to-end data flows.
What you'll do
- Collaborate with the Product Owner to prioritize technical and functional requirements and maintenance of the product roadmap
- Identifies what the business wants and works with the team to determine what's feasible to deliver (adherence to firm policies and standards)
- Understands pieces of the business capability to understand potential process redesign opportunities
- Defines, documents, and communicates requirements in work items for product development team (epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria)
- Organizes, models, and specifies requirements with the appropriate level of detail given complexity, risk, and audience
