Senior Principal Advanced Services Engineer (Senior Solaris / Linux System Administrator) at Oracle. Administer and support enterprise Oracle databases on Exadata and RAC/ASM, maintaining reliable operation of mission-critical production environments.
What you'll do
- Diagnose and resolve database availability, Data Guard, RAC/ASM and infrastructure-related issues to restore service and prevent recurring incidents
- Manage RMAN backups, restores and recovery, including complex recovery scenarios, to protect data and restore database services
- Maintain and troubleshoot Data Guard environments, including Physical Standby, Active Data Guard and Data Guard Broker, to support database availability
- Analyze database performance, tune bottlenecks and recommend preventive and proactive improvements
- Handle complex and critical production incidents under pressure, providing timely technical resolution with a strong service and support mindset
