About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and commercially minded RFQ Engineer to join our Engineering team, based in our Chennai plant. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting business growth by preparing accurate cost estimates and quotations for electrical panel solutions.
What you'll do
- Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates, quotations, and RFQ submissions for electrical panel projects
- Review customer specifications, single-line diagrams, standards, and technical documentation to determine project requirements
- Develop detailed Bills of Materials (BOMs) and costing for junction boxes, motor starter panels, and related LV panel solutions
- Select suitable electrical components, switchgear, and enclosure configurations based on project specifications
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Engineering teams to ensure technical and commercial compliance of proposals
