About the role
The Lead Healthcare Affairs & Patient Engagement role is responsible for driving the Market Access (MA) and Healthcare Affairs (HCA) strategy for the OPU in alignment with global and IMETA priorities. Reporting directly to the Head of Market Access , this position leads the development and execution of therapeutic area strategies to maximize growth, accelerate access, and shape healthcare policy.
What you'll do
- Develop and lead Market Access and HCA TA strategies for the OPU , including pricing, reimbursement, and enlisting plans aligned with IMETA and local priorities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Market Access topics within assigned therapeutic areas, ensuring cross-functional collaboration with Marketing , Medical
- Guide and review MA plans for the OPU , including resource allocation, budget, and content, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
- Design and implement healthcare affairs and market access strategies to proactively identify opportunities and shape the market through payer surveys, advisory boards
- Ensure launch readiness by preparing payers and budget owners to enhance patient access for new products and indications
